Band Council shall consist of one representative of each grade. the Drum Major and one auxiliary member.
Nominations shall take place on or by October 1st and each position (except Drum Major) shall be voted on by all Band and Auxiliary Members. The winners shall be determined by receiving one vote more than 50% of the ballots cast. To do this a run-off election may be necessary. If a run-off is necessary, then the top two candidates will "run-off." The decision of the Band Director will be FINAL!!!!
Meetings of Band Council shall be held during lunch or before/after evening rehearsals with a 24 hour notification given by the Director or by four members of the council. (Meeting will not need 24 hours notification if 4 members request it.)
A chair person shall be elected by the Band Council. This person shall attend all Music booster meetings.
